Wanna play name that pill?

I fill a weekly pill bin on Sunday night every week. For some reason, I left it on the kitchen counter this morning instead of putting it back in my bathroom. My daughter just knocked it over and almost every bin opened and went all over my floor. Why can't drug manufacturers make our meds in different colors, shapes and sizes. I have so many little white pills it took almost 45 minutes for two of us to separate the pills into piles and then figure out which bin each one went into. I finally gave up on the vitamins.

Just one of the fun little things those of us taking multiple medicines go through.

I love it when I use a pill for so long that I think, "I'll never forget which pills these are," and place them in a unlabeled pill case in my purse. Yeah. StupiD!!! I go digging through my purse and never remember what is what.

I can actually 'name that pill rattle'.
Got my pred repeat at the pharmacy yesterday and actually knew it was my medicine next by the sound of the pills rattling in the bottle!

My problem is always dropping the SMALLEST ones on the floor and then searching around on my hands and knees for half an hour just so I can take it on time without having lost them.

Mine are so varied and many I have a pill night with myself every week to restock the weekly pill supply. No one gets what I'm doing that evening but bet you guys do!!!

Hey Zanne!  I know what you mean.  My Folic Acid, iron and D supplements all look alike.  Yeah one is a little yellower, but who can see that with fading over age 40 eyes!  I have a hard time putting them in pill cases as I take each at different times---my gut likes it better if I take my D and folic acid at lunch and the iron late at night.  I'm using that as my latest excuse why I "forget" to take my meds.

Let's campaign for flintstones or bugs bunny pills!  Eating bunny ears off should not just be for Easter time!!

I have a collection of spilled Pentasas under the bed. My cats love to bat them around. Now that we are starting to babyproof, I'm going to have to climb under there and dig them out.

Its the little white ones that kill me. Thank God my daughter helped. I couldn't read the little itty bitty numbers. If she hadn't been around I would have had to get out the bottles and compared them, but I was able to compare them to the few bins that hadn't opened. Then again, if she hadn't been around, they wouldn't have spilled!!!

And ya, wouldn't it be great if they could make them like flintstones, or the new gummi vitamins. That would be fun!
