This forum is great! Really, it is. There is no better resource for battling a disease than an active support group.

Okay, let's see here, not sure how best to explain this but I will be frank about it.

Do any of you leak? Especially after a bowel movement. Even after I am fully cleaned up, a few minutes later or maybe a half hour later, I need to wipe again and there is plenty to wipe (residue). I am just wondering if this related to CD or someother malfunction.

Yes, almost everytime. And it seems to get worse if I'm active and walking around
like in a store shopping. I'd be interested to hear anyone who has a cause for it
and a way to stop it, if any. I've had CD for over 12 years now and I've just learned
I have to deal, and always have wipes with you!!!!!

I had that keep happening a long time ago. Not sure why I had it or why it went away...

I don't really have leakage but get the residue every now and then. Definately wouldn't mind knowing a prevention for it...

This happens to me all the time. My GI said that it should only happen when I am inflamed, but it happens regardless of whether I am flaring. Sometimes, I will even shower after a BM, and 20 minutes later I will leak! It is so frustrating. I actually use gauze so that I don't have to change my underwear all the time.
