Imuran and Colds

I have had a cold for the past week. I went to my ear, nose and throat doctor on Friday b/c I was sure it had turned into a sinus infection (green mucous), but the test for infection came back negative and he said I have a virus. I also have been coughing up green mucous for a full week. The good news is that I don't have a fever.

This is my first time having a virus/cold while on Imuran. This cold went through my office and everyone else got over it within a few days. I know my immune system is weaker in general, but so far there are no signs of this getting better.

What do you guys do to help get rid of a cold? Is there a point at which I should worry about my cough? I have increased my vitamin C and zinc intake, but so far it hasn't helped. Should I notify my GI that this is going on (even though, knock on wood, my gut is doing fine)?
