Hi i noticed in on your signature that you had a temp illeostomy then had a reversal Would you mind telling me about the reversal i was due to have mine in March but the resection hadn't fully healed looking to get it done in July now hopefully! How long  does it take to do? are there any tests beforehand?  is it as bad as having a resection op?and how long to get used to going to the toilet again normally. i hope you don't mind me asking you thanks hun Bev x

Bev, in my case, i did very well with the reversal. Spent a week in the hospital. returned home and did a little too much. My surgeon is not much on pain pills, so I did suffer some. At the moment i am flaring , and have another perianal abecess. it was well worth it though. I was very embarassed, self concious, while wearing the bag!! Have you ever been on humira???????????
