Well for those of you who have followed my saga at work, know some of the physical price paid working in the toxic environment over the past 1 1/2 years. In August of 2007 there was no sign of active disease in interography, colonsocopy, and endoscopy. Yesterday I received a call from my GI's nurse and those same test show moderate inflamation from my esauphagus (sp) through my colon. I was wondering why I didn't feel well, duh! Still waiting on my employer's response to my EEOC charge of discrimination. EEOC said I probably would not hear anything until July. Only the pace of government considers that a quick turn - around time. March 13 to July 13. Hopefully going on medical retirement and removing myself from the stress of he!! to work in will allow my body to get back to inactive disease. If not, when this mess goes to trial or settlement, I will ask how do you compensate for the loss in quality of life caused by inflamming my disease becasue of a hostile work environment? There is no price worth that but I will ask for alot. Won't make a difference unless it cost them money my attorney says. Well thanks for letting me vent. Hope I didn't ramble too badly. Hugs to all.
