Ah yes, I just looked out the window and right enough, there was some sunshine.
Well, enough blue sky to make a pair of shorts with, anyway, if not quite a set of pyjamas. But no warmth of course, that would be too much to hope for !
You guys with the clownfooted wildlife really must stop wringing all the heat out of it then sending it back to the depot, I may be a snohare but even I want to wear my summer coat once in a while !
I haven't been keeping up with what is happening to the oceanic currents recently, but if it is El Nino again that is seriously bad news all over the Pacific. I know that there is recent research suggesting with a high level of confidence now that there is an effect whereby the transpiration and evaporation from coastal trees acts as a kind of rainfall "suction" to draw cooler moister air into hotter inland areas; the theory is that deforestation in relatively small specific key areas can make a big difference in shifting where the rains go. (The usual fluttering butterfly effect that keeps popping up in climatology.) The place that springs to my mind is the Atlantic seaboard rainforest along the coast of Brazil, but of course Tasmania would be a candidate.
Have you got a nice cool cellar with a keg, Sydney Jo ?
I wouldn't be without one in your neck of the woods...
Although it sounds like you might want to have really good drains or a scuba set in it.
