A little update if you are interested

So, still pregnant (thankful) and had my first sono at about 5 weeks.  The little sac is in the right place and the blood levels are rising appropriately.  I have an appt with the high risk OB on Tuesday am and by then we should see the start of the fetal pole and maybe if I'm really lucky a little flicker of a heart beat.

I went on entocort and the flare has calmed down.  Still achy in the gut but much better.  I was able to go to the US open on Sunday and walk around for 4 hours.  I even had a hamburger and lived to tell about it!

Hopeful that on Tuesday morning we see progression of the little nugget.  I'm dying to tell my folks!

That is awesome news Bluize!!! You must be going nuts not being able to tell your folks. My mom was always too smart for me and always knew I was expecting. I guess going over to visit and always falling asleep on her couch might have given her some clues:) I use to want to sleep the day away when I was pregnant (at least for the 1st trimester). So excited for you!! On a side note, we just found out our favorite niece is going to have a BOY!! Of course, as soon as I knew what it was, I was in Babies R US right away:) Such an exciting time in your life.

I didn't take the entocort today by accident and my belly hurts but I'm trying to remain calm and I look forward to getting home and popping the pills asap.

I'm a bit fatigued but mostly no real outward signs.  I'm sure by week 7 or 8 I will be in full blown preggo symptoms.  The doc told me that in the 2nd tri things could calm down with my crohns symptoms since cortisol levels rise.  That's why he says the entocort is helping me now. 

I've only told you guys, one co-worker since she sits next to me (can't keep it a secret the way we sit) and my doctors.  This is killing me!

I just got off the phone with mom..dang this is hard to keep secret!
