Mucus, and leaking weird weird weird

So I have been on humira since April. I feel pretty well for the most part. I am only having 1 to 2 Bowel movements a day. And cramps are like once or twice a day and only last for a few moments...usually gas. But the last 4 days I have woke up and my first BM in the am is diahrea and I also have like went to fart and totally messed on myself but its mucusy slimey stuff!!!

woke up the last e nights totally leaking that stuff out of my behind!!! What the hell is that about, any insight is this just Crohns??? I dont understand since I feel so great most of the time...why Im having this issue?

Have you been checked for C-Diff? I was having the same symptoms and just tested positive.

I was treated for a cdiff infection back in October, could it really have returned? I dont feel sick like I did last time though...

I have CD in my rectum and that is the side effect. Lots of mucosa and I wear a pad 24/7 and have for more years than I want to count today. Never trust a Fart is the most honest thing I can say.

C-diff is a very nasty bacteria that's become quite common in our environment these days. If you go to a hospital or doctor's office, there's a good chance it's lurking around somewhere. I've even read that doctors/nurses/etc. who go eat at a restaurant in their scrubs are likely leaving c-diff behind for the next unsuspecting person who sits down at that table. Yuck!

I have never heard od such a problem. I hope you feel better soon.

Glad your going to see your Doc - if your Doc is anything like mine, they can usually get right to the "bottom" of things. ;)

Hi Doc! I always have mucus, not sure why. Sometimes I'll think I'll have to go, run to the bathroom & it's just gas & mucus. I've mentioned it to my doctor but he didn't seem to think it was unusual. As for the leaking, just tuck a wad of TP between the ol' cheeks before going to bed. Works like a charm! :)
