Second Dose of Remicade

So my daughter just received her second loading dose of Remicade. Both times she received Remicade she suffered bloating the next few days after. Is this normal? Both times she has vomited because of the bloating. After the first time, she eventually felt better after a few days. Hopefully this will subside the same. Is this normal? I have tried to search for this with no luck. She is now taking liquid iron twice a day. She didn't tolerate the pill form awhile back. As I have stated in the past, her issues are in her duodenum w/pyloric stricture dilation.

I was on Remicade for about three months but developed pneumonia(I have many drug allergies) I did feel very bloated and nauseous after an infusion. When I talked to my GI she put me on compazine. I only used it 2x. Eventually the bloating went away and the nausea. Then I was hospitalized and taken off of it. Again I must state that I don't tolerate many meds the reason for coming off the Remicade. The issue with something like compazine is it can slow things down and depending on your daughters digestive system this might not be what you want especially if there is a stricture or potential blockage. The same goes for Percocet which is about the only pain med. that I can take. I found a couple of small things that helped with the nausea. They sound crazy but they worked and still work for me today. Mint tea(caffiene free)I buy Mint Medley I think Bigalow makes it. The straight peppermint was a little to much. When I am out of the house and get nauseous I will chew mint gum for a bit and it seems to do the trick. I only drink water and mint tea. I drink the water with a straw it reduces the amount of air that gets swallowed.(noticable difference)Noe that the warmer days are here I occassionally brew mint tea and ice it. I do hope she feels better.
