Anyone live in Montreal?need new doc..need more advice

I saw my GI last week, she switch remicade to Humira, and put me back on Imuran. But the so called ' arthritis' is getting the better of me. My arm has been deformed for days now, and the pain is like no other. No one will send me to a reumy. I'm still waiting to hear from the humira nurse to come show me how to use it. tho I heard it still can take 3-6 months before I feel a sort of relief. I'm thinking of going to a walk in clinic and hope to god he can send me to a reumy like yesterday ( but for those of you in Montreal, knows how long it can take to get an apointment with these specialist)

Any advice or insight would be gladly appreciated.

Who is your doctor now? I go to the Montreal General and my doctor is Josee Parent, she's the best I could ever ask for. I posted in the other thread when I saw you lived in Montreal, didn't see this thread! I haven't had to go to a rheumy though, so I can't help you there.

Dr Thibert. She's at the Lake Shore (which I hate but it's so close to home)

Do you have a phone number for your doc?!

I would love to see a new GI and see if they want me to see a reumy!

I know her, a girl at work goes to her, and I've heard horror stories about her! I'm in the west island too, so Lakeshore would've been great but it's an awful hospital, so going downtown makes sense.
