Seton issue

Just had a peek this morning................it's disappeared! Just a big gaping hole left.
Wating for the doctors surgery to open, is any of this going to go smoothly????

Still smiling............. and waiting for a call, my Gp has had a look this morning he said it all looks clean and healthy and if I don't hear back from the surgeon today, he will chase them tomorrow.

Ok, so surgery has been scheduled for the 4th of August.

The seton that fell out was supposes to be a cutting seton, and therefrore tight, at no point when I looked at it post op did it look tight, so probably a good job it fell out or it would have just been sat there doing nothing for 6 weeks.

He said that he didn't touch the 2nd fistula on the right because they couldn't find anything, however when he stared fiddling this morning I nearly hit the ceiling, so he intends to sort that out at the same time as inserting the new seton.

Now comes the real toe curling part, I'm scheduled to be operated on in a different theatre from last time. Unfortunately this is where I work, in the recovery unit...........so lots of people I sit down to lunch with, getting a good look at where my lunch will come out!

Yikes! My sympathies.
