Did anyone have "growing pains" when a child?

I never had them either. But, my daughter frequently complains of them. Personally, the notion that the bones might hurt as they grow does not seem wrong to me. I've wondered if that was part of an explanation for why people on osteoporosis meds sometimes have bone pains.
