Elevated AST level on blood test?

Curious if anyone has any experience with this. I got my bimonthly blood test done yesterday, and the results showed an elevated AST level. I know it has something to do with the liver. I won't see my GI for another month, but he did put a note on it and said he'd watch it, but didn't suggest doing anything.

I am on 6mp, 50mg/day, and 1000mg of Remicade every 8 weeks.

From what I can find, and understand, on the web, elevated AST levels can be the result of the 6mp.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I fully trust my GI, and will talk to him about it, but I like to go armed with a bit of information.
