I'll bet you didn't know you had something in common with me . Yep, having crohns is somewhat like living on the bayou. Its like having a 12 foot alligator in your back yard. Finding out you have crohns is like stepping on his tail in the dark. All at once there you are, up to you a-- in alligators and it scares the crapp out of you. Then, you find out that as long as he is happy , lying in the sun , your ok, but when he wakes up, hes going to bite you in the butt. Oh yea, you can tip toe around him and hope he is not disturbed, but you never know when hes going to wake in a bad mood and snap. Your always watching for that one half
open eye that says , beware, the beast is waking. You also find out that not taking meds and eating the wrong food is like taking a swim with that old gator. He just loves having you on his turf. So dont feed him and dont dangle your feet in the murky water.
Next time, how Nurse Ratchet is like a water moccasin.....
