Recently I've been fighting off a flare for the life of me. Been going on months now and a few hospital trips but of course I'm one of the lucky ones I can be at my worst and tests all show up perfectly fine.
Lately I've noticed I feel fine during the days, as fine as I can anyways...but then at night when I try and go to bed BAM!! the pain hits me like a ton of bricks. Has anyone experienced this? I'll feel fine til I lay down and it seems the action of laying down seems to really bother me and trigger off something. Then of course I just end up popping painkillers and even those seem to be waring off in effectiveness on me. Does anyone have any ideas if this might be something other then the crohns or maybe just the effects of eating during the day catching up at night, but why only when I lay down? I now end up tossing and turning all night, groaning in pain and probably worrying my husband and lacking major sleep now cause of it. Swear I am going to start fearing even going to bed soon. Also could it be because of constipation? I know my body seems to have troubles lately getting it all out even though I feel I am going fine(any suggestions there? more fibre perhaps?)
Had a baby in March, on Imuran (never really had problems with it, been on it long enough to know its not an effect of that) and been fighting this flare since May. Monthly b12 shots.
Any advice or anything would be very welcome!
