Hi I am a new member here.
I am 53 years old
a female
diagnosed with crohn's disease in 2005. Although I was suffering for many years, afraid to go to the doctor.
Advice is cheap, do not do this to yourself. I am so much better today because of my wonderful medical team.
I am now living in hope not in fear!!
Meds, I am on humira, a wonderful drug!!!

hello there, i am a fairly new member as well, i am 33 and have been fighting the complications of this ongoing battle for quite a while too. [see details in profile bellow].
i am wondering if Humira may be better route for me too, the Remicade dosen't seem to be working for me, mind you i am only on my 6th injection so maybe it just hasn't kicked in yet...? i have heard some people tried remicade with no success and then went with humira and got what they needed for their crohns.

And welcome to Healingwell. We have alot of wonderful and supportive folks here trying to live with this dd too. I am glad you are so happy with your docs and meds. I look forward to hearing more from you.
