Hi,
I had surgery last August to remove a 2' section of my small intestine that was continually causing me some trouble. Since the removal, I've had no more pain. blockages, everything going great.
The only problem I've still been having is with my bowel movements and such. For the last year they have been a toss up...normal, formed, etc....to very watery. I was told by my doc that was normal and over the next few months, things would straighten out.
Over the past month, I've been having nothing but watery stools and in the last week I've been having to go to the bathroom many more times a day than normal...sometimes even an hour after eating. I'm very happy I'm pain free, but the not to happy about this issue.
My doc suggested I take Immodium before I eat to maybe help relieve the issue, but I think I'm more concerned that after a year, I'm still having very watery stools.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any suggestions.
Thank you
