Biopsies came back

The GI called with my biopsy results as I was sitting on the beach this week on vacation. Although the scope was clean and prometheus tests were normal, the biopsies showed mild Crohn's. So I am officially in a flare. He put me on Apriso and dicyclomine.

Here's the weird part. While I was on vacation, I had solid BMs for the first time in a month. I had some ab pain, but nothing major. I've been home about 6 hours now and the pain is strong and the BMs are getting less solid. What the heck?!?

Sometimes the change in water and food can cause a constipation hence the solid BM's...

Hope the meds sort it all out for you, but sorry they were so expensive...

I agree with flowery. I always feel better when on vacation, and then when I go back to work it all returns. I was off for five days last week and felt pretty darn good the whole time, my joint pain was sooo much better. But that was because I could rest when I needed to, but at work its back to the grind, and without being able to rest like I did I am miserable again. Hugs!
