Well, flu vaccines will be available really soon here, but it seems it's FluMist and not the shot. Meaning, I really don't want to risk it because it actually contains live virus albeit in a weakened state.
Not sure what to do :( Would anyone here on immunosuppressants be risking that?

My husband's doc cautioned against any live or attenuated vaccine. So, we'll be waiting for the regular vaccine to get the seasonal flu and swine flu shots.

Only killed virus vaccines if you're immunosuppressed, so no FluMist for us. I'd rather take a shot than have liquid shot up my nose anyway.

Sounds right to me. I'd rather have a shot than mist up my nostril too, by the way. After everything I'm used to needles.
