Earlier this year I could barely drag myself out of bed in the morning (and some days I didn't). I was dead tired all the time, could have slept all day, and was barely keeping my head above water at school. Then at night I would toss and turn. When I went to the doctor, they said it was depression and started me on anti-depressants. After about a month, I started to notice a real difference and was able to get through the day more easily. Now I'm still tired more often than I'd like, but I work a lot and don't sleep a lot, so it's just normal tiredness and not the debilitating issue it was six months ago.
