Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share my joy...the surgery to have a colostomy and the removal of my rectum has been set for Nov. 23!! It only took 12 years of prodding and finally demanding something be done.

I will no longer be a victim of my pathetic excuse for a rectal muscle. No more accidents and leaving my underwear all over western Canada!! I am so excited to finally have my life back. I will keep everyone updated! smilewinkgrin

Getting my holiday shopping done before the surgery.. that is an EXCELLENT idea! And yes, I guess I will be joining the ostomy boards as well!
