Chronic Coughing..and Remicade Infusion.

Hello, Good Evening/Good Morning :)

So currently I am sick with this cold..and I have been constantly coughing.. to the point where today I pulled a muscle or something in my stomach. This is what my brother told me. If that is possible.. Anyways my question is.. I have my Remicade Infusion coming up this week. Should I still go.. has anyone gone to a infusion with still feeling sick with a cold?

You should NOT get your infusion when you are sick. My infusion center makes me sign a paper with questions on regarding an active infection...coughing, runny nose, temp, ect...of course you can lie, but you are only hurting yourself.

I agree with the last responder but would mention this:

My first autoimune issue was a coughing asthma. I was treated with Prednisone for several years before they (I) realized I had Chron's related asthma and the Prednisone was also treating the Chrons. If the coughing persists, mention it to your G.I. so you could then continue the Remicade.

Thank you very much for both of your comments, I appreciate your input. Yes it feels like this is a Chronic Cough..does not want to improve. I will definitely go to talk with my G.I
