SCD and getting off remicade

I've been on SCD six months and I think it's working pretty well. I'm going to continue it for 2 years at least at which point I'll consider getting off Remicade. Remicade wasn't really working well and I suspect it's the diet that's really keeping me going here (I could be wrong though). Has anyone been on SCD while on Remicade then got off Remicade? How did you do it? After how long on the diet. What did you tell your doctor? Thanks . . . and please don't discourage me from this goal of getting off meds eventually. I'm willing to take the risk.
