What the heck is this?

Hey everyone. I have crohn's disease and i've had it for 7 years. I'm currently on cimzia and apriso. back in august of 08 i had a small bowel ressection with a temp ileostomy. I was reversed in october of 08. Since i've had surgery i've been feeling alright. in june i had my first partial small bowel obstruction. excrutiating pain and vomiting. yesterday at 2:00 i started to get these really bad contraction like waves of pain across my bellybutton area. then the neasea started. couldn't eat, walk or anything. all i could do was writhe in pain. finally at 8:00 i decided to the er. while i was getting ready to go i had three bowel movement and the pain subsided but the neasea remained. now all night long i've had d and i can't go no more than an hour without having d. i am still having the pain across my bellybutton allbeit not as severe as last night. do you think it could be a blockage of some sort should i see the doc or see if it passes? thanks

Yes, unfortunately that sounds like it could be a blockage. I would see a doctor...

Hi yes i had exactly the same symptoms a year ago thought i had a bug but ended up losing weight ended up in hossy in jan with a stricture in the small bowel i would get it checked out before it becomes really unbearable Bev x

Also sometimes the bowel can get twisted. I third agree that you need to get ahold of your doc or go to the ER. Good luck!
