I have upper abdominal pain around the belly button and surounding the area a little....does anyone think I should be concerned? does it warrant a call to the doctor? My labs have been coming back normal and not sure what this pain is. I am on 4.8gm Lialda and 75mg of 6mp. Thanks for any advice

As always if there is any question please contact your doc.
My personal experience is constant abdominal pain, so I am not sure what to tell you.

Are you able to pass gas or stool? If so, then I don't think you are having an obstruction. With my partial and full obstructions my symptoms are crampy abdominal pain in the belly button region that comes in waves much like labor pains, cannot pass air or stool, and I have nausea. If that is what you are feeling I would suggest you go to the ER. If not, it could just be cramps from either the disease or even possibly something you ate didn't agree with you. If it is the second option, I would try putting a heating pad on your tummy and see if that helps. Good luck and keep us posted.
