Q for moms with cd

Anyone nurse while pregnant? Neither my daughter nor I are ready to fully wean. She nurses no more than twice per day mostly for comfort. Milk's mostly gone. I'm 10 weeks and know it's fine for healthy moms but a little worried about nutrition and caloric intake. Ob just said to stop eventually. Do you think I could be pushing my body too far. I'm feeling pretty good and in remission, but know that I can't just pretend I don't have cd and strictures.

Hi Inflamed,
I nursed my second eldest daughter while pregnant with my third daughter and was much like you, only the 1-2 feeds a day - if I remember (they are 18 and 16 now - seems like yesterday though) I did this for about 3 months. Hard to tell if It hurt me as I was always tired anyway, but CD wise I always thought pregnancy and nursing kept me in remission.

Thanks! I feel like the hormones help my CD too. Glad to know someone else has done it.
