passing blood and scared

I woke up this morning and passed blood. I have never done this before so i am a little scared. I am not flaring but i did just start taking a anbiotic zithromax and paxil and xanax. It was red in color.

A few questions:
-How deep was the red?
-Even though you're not flaring are you having any other symptoms you think you need to be wary of?
-Anything you could have eaten?

Concerning the first one, it could give you more of an idea of whether it's something like hemorrhoids or if there is a problem higher up in your system.

If CD is affecting your large intestine (colon) and/or rectom (proctitis) then blood is more common, you could have an internal hemmie or even an external hemmie (have you checked your anus to see if there's a hemmie there?)...if you do have proctitis then you would definitely need rectal meds. The bleeding could be an indication of a flare starting (likely in your colon/rectom area(s).
