For those of you who know, I had my resection/fistula repair on Friday, and I came home this morning! Wow, it has been such a smooth and fast recovery so far. I really did not expect it to be going so well, from past experiences. Tomorrow I get my wound VAC set up (I have an open wound) which is a little bit depressing, but I just have to look at it in the long run and how much faster it will help heal me! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving this Thursday, I'm so glad I am able to be home for it!

Yeah home for Turkey Day! Glad to hear you are doing ok and all went well. If you remember I see your same surgeon next Friday. I got my pre appointment surgery packet in the mail -- kind of makes it more real.
