6mp dosage

I just went to the dr yesterday and he said I am definitely flaring and put me back on 40mg of prednisone and increased my dose of 6mp from 75mg to 100mg. I am very concerned about this. Has anyone had any problems at this dose? I am concerned because I work in close contact with some very sick people since I work for the health dept.

I was at 100mg at one point. My problem was the liver testing not getting sick. Keep up your blood work and have your doctor send some to Prometheus to check for therapeutic levels vs toxic levels. The dosing is a guideline and every patient is different. The only way to really tell if it is helping is by having the levels checked and Prometheus is the only lab that can do those test.
