Researcher Dr Mark Pharaoh said they were now using technology designed by the motor manufacturing industry to diagnose inflammatory bowel conditions and manage them.

Wouldn't it be great if this means we don't have to go through scopes anymore? It makes sense because I heard that c-diff infections have a particular odor. I've heard of a nurse who dxd a patient with it because of the smell and when they got the official test results back, she was right. Not a very fun job though. Maybe they could train dogs like they do for sniffing out illegal drugs???
