Hey everyone. I'm moving back to Ohio from Chicago very soon and need a new doctor...I absolutely loved my doctor in Chicago and am sad to be leaving her.
I was just wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a doctor in Cleveland, I would really appreciate it.

Dear imissicecream, yes clev. clinic would be a good choice, I however go down in akron.  I do not know how far this would be for you.  My doctor actually listens, understands, and takes the time to care.  I have been with him for 5 years and had been through many other doctors over the years.  He is open to any form of treatment that you may or may not like.  Eastern, Western, Natural and Homeopathic.  He has a very open mind and seems well informed of all these versions of care.  Best of luck, many prayers - mike

Akron wouldn't be far for me at all, actually, it's closer than Cleveland. What is your doctor's name? He seems very much like my doctor that I liked so much in Chicago.

Dr Monica Ray. She only works out of their Willoughby Hills location. You can find her contact info on Clevelandclinic.org website. She specializes in IBD. She's the best doctor I've ever been to. I really like and trust her.

I know of a very wonderful doctor in that area - one of the very few doctors I ever really liked and I definitely recommend him!!! His name is Eric Shapiro and he's located at University Suburban Health center in South Euclid, but I think he also has another location as well if that one isn't good for you. I have several chronic conditions and have seen a plethora of doctors and he is only one of two (out of many, many, many) that I really liked. I have since moved to Arizona - for health reasons, actually, and I really miss having him as a doctor. I felt like he really listened to me, which most doctors do not do. I don't like my new GI doctor at all. Anyway, I definitely recommend Eric Shapiro - he is very genuine and caring and seems like he really wants to help.

No offense to your recommendation or anything, but I have had the worst experience with CC doctors - they're arrogant, uncaring, and don't listen to a single thing you say. I've never liked a single one from CC.
