What kind of diet do you follow? I know it's not going to be much different than the UC diet. The only foods I absolutely know of that set me off are fatty greasy foods. How do you absolutely know you can't take certain foods when you're already in a flare? How do you prepare your food?

Diet is pretty individual to each of us. Some can eat things, while others can't. I currently live on a low residue diet and it works well for ME. You can google it and get some diet ideas. Its easy to chew, easy to digest type of diet. Good luck!

I follow the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD), which is gluten, starch, sugar, and lactose free. Therefore, I pretty much make all my food from scratch.

I avoid too much fiber. I ate a whole sauteed onion (about
2lbs) last month and paid for it! Also very spicy hot foods hurt me.
