Rocking With Pain

 I'm getting rocked with pain, my usual type cyclical pain building up to a peak every 2-5 minutes. Both sides of the top are tough to take. Plus both kidney's are aching pretty bad. I just had 6 days without or with very low pain and now this and again I've no idea what caused it .How many of you get this type of pain?

Am so sorry u a having to deal with this..do pain meds help you at all or do you take them...some dont...that pain sounds just horrid..i will keep you in my thoughts for a quick come out of it..what has your doc said about this pain...take care and yes welcome..i never did welcome you before...huggles..lyn

Yes Dr.s are aware of this. I've suffered this type of pain since 1995 when I came out of remission the last time.I do take morphine sulfate immediate release to try and control it. It's working today as the pains only a 7 of 10, any higher and the painkillers only take the edge off.

Sounds to me like you are either experiencing at least a partial obstruction or possibly kidney stones. A pain on that level really needs to be brought to your docs attention. I hope you get feeling better soon. Hugs!

it sounds a little familiar. I'll get 'attacks' that start by my sternum, then it expands to my entire abdomen and into my back by the kidneys. It hurts so bad that nothing helps it. It's hard to breathe and hurts to move. They usually last a half hour to an hour, though the last one was almost 2 hours long. My dr doesn't understand it, he prescribed me robinul to see if that helped, it doesn't really, and I get so nauseaous that nothing will stay down.
