Today and yesterday my tummy has been really upset constant gas and some cramping.
I constantly feel like I have to go to the toilet but there is really nothing coming.
But yesterday and today I went and there was a whole lot of S**t really much more then regularly.. It was kind of solid but really worm like and irregular

I just got my second shot of Humira on the 1th of jan other than that all is the same.
I also am not eating that much since I don't have much appetite

Any ideas?

Maybe you got a little backed up and then things just broke thru to finally pass??? Thats what happens with me sometimes. Hope you get feeling better soon.

Ooh that sounds more like you might have at least a partial obstruction going on with the nausea too. At least when I have had partial obstructions the nausea was a part of it too. Since your bowels finally moved I would suspect its trying to clear itself. But a flare can act like that too sometimes.

By the way these are my symptoms of a obstruction; 1) can't move air out of either direction, 2) Cramps that come in waves much like labor pains, 3) Feel like I have to poop but nothing will come out, and if anything does its a tiny amount thats really skinny and 4) nausea, that turns into to vomiting when it gets really bad. Sound like how you are feeling? If so, I would head to the emergency if the pain returns or gets bad again. Hugs to you!

Nanners you really nailed obstructions for me u forgot the gross swelling of the abdomen and the really achy kidney's. For me the "cramps" are debilitating pain.

Regarding the obstruction--suppose you can move air--but are having all of the other symptons--could it still be an obstruction?

Usually with an obstruction one of the biggest things for me at least, is that I want to fart/burp but nothing will come out. My stomach gets huge, and makes really high pitched squeals. So no, I don't think you are having an obstruction. I replied to you on your IBS post by the way.

If you get the "labor pains" from an obstruction, you recognize them. I've never had a baby, but that's how I describe them. It's like things are trying to push through, but going nowhere, and it comes in waves of pain.

My belly either makes high pitched squeals or no noise whatsoever.

Try liquids for a few days if you can and hopefully that'll keep you out of the ER. Then just gradually add foods to see if things move through safely.

This happens to me too quite often, actually. I'll go through a long period of having relatively consistent BM's, but then nothing will pass for a while, and all of a sudden it seems like 3 days' worth of food is going down the drain. I don't really know why...I get a lot of cramps and chills, but it feels nothing like an obstruction to me so ours may be slightly different. I just know that I'm always surprised that my body can even hold that much and still function.

I hope maybe this is humira starting to work in strange ways for you. I really hope you're starting to feel better!!!

I having been having less pain today but the nausea is still there and well nothing is moving much.

But I am not bloated or anything like that so hopefully it is just something that will pass with time.
If it was a obstruction my belly would be big right ?

And can an obstruction just come out of the blue ? like no bloody D or anything ?
Don't you get any warning ?

Mine have to an extent...It just depended on what was eaten. I, rather stupidly I might add, ate a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries one day, and it started out with uncomfortable pain in the middle of my abdomen. It does that for a few hours, I get really bloated *sometimes*, and then the lovely labor pains come :/ I either stay home and try to let it go through its course or I go to the ER. It just depends...But that's generally how mine start. I'm not sure if that's common or not, but I imagine the other members have a lot more experience than I do. I've had around 5, give or take, partial obstructions so far.

Are you feeling any better though???
