Anyone try this EO29 Splash made by Neocate for kids with GI issues?  Someone I know on this board has used it for a child and is having great success. Any other feedback? Thanks.  (It will come up if you google it. I think I'm not supposed to paste links on this board.) I am NOT selling, actually I'm considering buying a case, but the stuff is pretty expensive.

Besides the mom who posted on the board about her daughter's great success with it, I know of another child who has been using it for something like five years now, and likes the taste better than any of the other formulas. By the way, the manufacturer is Nutricia North America if you're in the US or Canada. You might contact them and see if you could get some samples for your child to try before making a decision about purchasing. Also, you might be able to get your insurance to cover it.

Thanks Writer. The mom you mentioned was actually kind enough to send me two samples because we have become friends and she is so pleased at her daughter's current remission from the product.  Before then, I had contacted the makers of the product thru their website and requested samples. They told me they would be happy to send them with a request from my child's doctor. This made no sense to me. If I can order the juices online without a prescription, the why would I need a prescription for a sample????  Didn't want to splurge on $115/case of 27 juices only to have my child take one sip and tell me it is too yucky to drink.  As my typical bad luck would have it, my friend did not have any of the grape flavor left to send me...which is probably the only flavor my child would tolerate as she does not like grapefruit, pineapple, orange flavors that are in the other varieties.  Everyone keeps mentioning Modulen.  I'm assuming this is bad tasting as well? Especially for an EXTREMELY finicky eater like my daughter?

I tried the EO28 and thought it was disgusting!!
I got on better with modulen as it was a lot easier to drink. It has got flavours to mix in and is more like a milk shake. Although there were obviously some flavours i preferred than others. As far as I know they are basically the same or have the same in, as I was offered both, and also I think modulen is more versatile as far as other liquids etc that can be taken with it, but dont quote me on that.
It is nestle that produce modulen, not sure if you can get it every where in the world or if it is a UK product, maybe worth checking out as well,
Also the flavours are alot better in modulen, there is lime,orange, strawberry, chocolate and I think there were a few more but it is a while since I had it so cant remember them all, but I know I did have a bottle of each flavouring to vary things during the day, as you mix it in with the formula rather than a ready made drink so you can also vary the quantity of flavouring if you wanted to as well.
