Itchy Throat then Flare - Anyone else?

 After a serious flare in 2007-08, I'm on Humira and generally considered "in remission."  about once a month, however, I have an "attack" which unfolds in this order: very itchy throat (I have to make that funny noise to scratch the top/back of my throat),then sick feeling/very tired/wiped out, cold, loss of appetite, and some GI symptoms (some loose stools, maybe a little diarrhea, cramps).  I have an excellent doctor, but we haven't been able to spread out, limit, or stop these attacks.  Although the itchy throat suggests allergies, I have not been able to discern a trigger.  We have hypothesized SIBO, yeast, or an underlying, opportunistic infection, but have not been able to confirm or successfully treat.  Lucky for me, I usually feel quite good during the intervening three or so weeks, but these attacks are hitting me pretty hard.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?  I'm happy to provide more info if that would help.  Thanks.

tez25: Thank you for your post! You may not have an answer, but we can work from here. There were years when I'd get a traditional Crohn's/GI attack that would then make me feel sick for a day or two. This is almost the opposite -- something setting off my immunity, leading to the GI issues, including queasiness and loss of appetite which I never had before. Let's hope that someone else can share some wisdom. These attacks are quite debilitating for me, leaving me wiped out for 2-4 days.
