Methotrexate and pregnancy

I know you're not supposed to get pregnant while on metho and i do not plan on that at all. What I was wondering is: For the ladies, has anyone here been on metho and became pregnant after stopping the medicine? If so was the baby and yourself okay?

I have not gotten pregnant, but I already had this talk with my doctor. He told me to get on birth control which I have done, and he said that if I plan to get pregnant that I would need to discontinue the Metho for 3-4 months before I start trying.

Interesting.....can't think of anyone I've heard of getting pregnant after methotrexate. I've always been told be off it 6 months before trying to make sure its clear of your system.
