It was the one question I forgot to ask the surgeon!
Anyone know about
how long theirs took?

I believe mine was a little over 2 hours. Mine was
open surgery, for what it's worth.

Yeah, I wonder if
open vs lap make a difference in time frame? Mine is supposed to be laparoscopically.

Mine was about
2 1/2 hours and was a lap. My resection was due to a tumor. The surgeon told me she'd be inspecting the rest of my intestines to see if there were any more tumors so it probably took her a bit longer.

Yeah I think my "
open" resections took about
3 - 3 1/2 hours. Mine took a wee bit longer because they had to clean up so much scar tissue first.

Thanks, all. I was guessing in the 2-3 hour period but wasn't sure.
It's scheduled for tomorrow afternoon! I'm supposed to be at home starting that prep but have too much work to get finished. I may be up late tonight =(
