Hi All,

Still going through my diagnoses confirmation (pillcam scheduled for the 12th - please wish me luck!) But I do have a question.  I've noticed this new "symptom" for the past week or two and I'm wondering if it is something crohnies tend to have.  Throughout the day I have gas (surprise, surprise!) and that's not new but lately I've been experiencing what feels like little leaks of something coming out the rear.  There's nothing noticible when I look in my underwear but throughout the day it feels like something is coming out in addition to the gas.  Does that make sense?  It's kinda embarassing but hopefully someone on the board will understand what I'm trying to say.

I have to say..I do understand.  I have seen and asked many embarassing questions and I still have been embaressed to talk about this.  The best that I can describe to feeling for me is "anal leakage".  At times, I go to the bathroom cause I feel like I have to wipe down there. 

Needless to say...your not alone on the weird feelings and I think it comes with the territory of CD.

Oh, yes, you have company. I think it may have something to do with nerve ending sending the wrong message.

Yes, this is someting that comes and goes here too, I am not sure if it follows an increased inflammational activity, but I too have to go to the bathroom and clean this yellow leakage away. This is not a gas problem and it's not lead by a fart, this is happening during a few weeks, and then it's gone for months, and so it starts again. /Bee

Leaking yellow stuff happened to me whenever my fistula was in an uproar.

Thanks for the input everyone!  I haven't really paid attention to the color so I'll make sure to make a point of checking.  It's interesting that I've only just started having this issue.  I'm encouraged that BeeSting only has it for weeks at a time and then it goes away.  Hopefully I will have the same luck.  I really pray that this pillcam will be what I need to confirm what I believe in my heart is Crohn's.  It just seems like the logical conclusion right down to the positive bloodwork.  I'll make sure to post once I get some results.  Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get results from the pillcam?  I'm pretty anxious to get this resolved.

Pillcam! Has anyone here swallowed one? It's yet another option suggested by my 9 yr old's GI Doc, but I know she won't be able to swallow it!  He said if it gets stuck, it has to be surgically removed!!!!

God, this makes me want to date a Crohnie! I have the worse leakage (I have thrombosed hemorrhoid - on and off - but always internal and exeternal hemorrhoids) and along with the anusol suppositories and cream, I smell funky even though I take a bath a few times a day. I think it would be easier to date/marry someone who has the same problem! Ha! It would be like a live forum all day!

As for pill cam, I remember another post where someone described a new technology where they can "test it out first' maybe they will chim in and explain. You shouldn't worry - low risk. For me, it was the ONLY way my disease was first diagnosed. Well worth it ... the lower part of the small intestine is hard to capture otherwise ....

I relate, no leakage when your sure there is and leakage when you sure there isn't. Best of luck with the pill cam, let us know how it ends up. no pun intended.
