They didnt give me any results right after.. The Dr. was only concerned asking me if anyone in my family had Crohn's Disease.. I answered "No". He said that when he finished the procedure that nothing looked "Extreme" but that he needed to take a closer look at it.. He said that my GI would have the results soon. I have an appt to discuss these results on the 22nd of this month. Did anyone get any results from this procedure quickly? Or right after?

I only received immedicate test results after a colonoscopy because the doctor did the actual test. I know it seems like the 22nd is an eternity away. Call the nurse in your doc's office and ask if they will give you the results over the phone. Tell her you will still be in on the 22nd to see the doc. I think you have a right.... they are your results.

The radiologist needs time to sit down and study the films AFTER the procedure and then to dictate his findings which then have to be transcribed and FAXed to your ordering/treating doctor. So, while frustrating, yes, it does take at least 3-4 days for your doctor to receive and read the dictated results.
