I have a canker sore and my throat has been sore the last few days. Is it the CD? I'm still taking the omeprazole for my throat but I missed 2 days of all my meds this last week (too exhausted to take them) so I'm guessing it is CD related *shrug*

I would guess that it from missing the meds. If I miss even one day of my GERD medication I pay for it the next day.

I agree with Zanne, I can't miss my meds are it takes me days to get back to my normal. Good luck!

Mouth, throat, ulcers are totally Crohn's related-- keep in mind it's from oral to anal...

My solution, having just had a few: Vitamin E capsules. Get the Vite E derived from various sources, Natural Factors makes a cheep one.

I chew the caps, spitting out the gelatin once the vite E is in my mouth. 1 cap 3x's / day until it clears, took me 3 days and then I kept it up for another 2 days to be sure.

Vite E is great for healing the mouth, including swollen gums.

I also used it when an ulcer showed up on the skin bordering my fistula. Worked like a charm.

my cd has moved up into my esphogus,throat, cankersores in my mouth and leasions on my tongue. i also have trouble swallowing certain food, my throat is so swollen, I'm going for endoscopy this thurs. my gi wants to stretch my throat out with ballon, i have found pred is the only thing that takes that horrible flare away, but man do I hate pred side effects
