Crohn's and Cushing's Disease

Does anyone out there have Cushing's disease?  I went to an endocronologist yesterday for my lack of losing weight.  I brought him a food diary/bathroom journal and he can not explain with as little as I am eating and as much as I frequent the bathroom why I am not losing weight - let alone gaining.  I have to take Ritalin everyday just so I can stay awake at work and while driving and I know it is a vicious cycle - you get scared to eat - you end up in the bathroom - you end up with no energy, etc.  He is having me do some tests to see if I may have Cushing's disease.  I looked up some of the symptoms and alot of them I have - but then again I have a lot of symptoms of a lot of things.  I feel like if you have Crohn's you are doomed to have so many other things wrong with you.  Part of me wants him to find something, but the other part of me doesn't want to feel like a "freak" the rest of my life with all these conditions.

I have had a Cushingoid tumor. Again, this is where no one believed me. I went from a size 6, eventally up to a size 18. I cannot stop grinding my teeth, from what i understand, the grinding can be associated with Cushing's. It took me forever to find an Endo who would even look at me. I went to and endo at a well-known hospital in Northern New York. This doctor examined me, then told me I gained weight and had excess body hair because i was an Italian. Are u kidding me right now?

My mom had mono while pregnant with me and her doctor gave her injections of steroids. Not only did i end up with Cushing's,but with Hirschprung's as well. As much as i hate having Cushing's and all the symptons and physical transformations, i would rather have Cushing's five thousand times over Hirschprung's. Also had Hypothyroidism-which was taken care of immediately and efficiently; was told after my thyroid was removed, the hypothyroidism was caused by my pit gland.
