Gas in Urine??????

Ok - another scary first for me. I've been complaining about kidney stone pain to my primary and have been happy waiting for them to pass fairly pain free. Made an appointment with my primary after calling my Remicade Nurse telling her that my urine had started to be cloudy yesterday. I urinate often and about 20 minutes ago I passed a little bit darker urine, and here's the kicker, I passed a lot of GAS from my penis. That freaked me out. Internet says rare but maybe fistulas (which I have and am trying to control with Remicade) or rarer that a microbe or something can produce gas. I guess I'll know next time I urinate.

sound like symptoms of a entero-bladder fistula.. sure hope not. good luck

I agree with Randy, but I too am hoping its not the case. I think getting in with the doc soon should be a priorty. Good luck and keep us posted.

Sounds like a fistula to me. Had one for nine yrs. Just had surgery on April 20th. I passed gas and fecal matter in my urine. And had a UTI alot of the time. For several yrs I lived with it, I was on remicade and 6mp and that kept it pretty much in check.. The surgery was tough had two sections removed just now coming around. But its great to have a normal bladder again. Good luck.
