How long can one hold a Fast heart rate anyway? Like I know anxiety plays a roll, and other issues but I mean is it dangerous to sometimes just be sitting on the toilet and fluctuating from 130-160?

Sometimes its 90-120.. Which i enjoy.

It really varies for some reason.

I called to have my cardio give me a call to ask specific questions but since these are general, i'd give it a shot.

Like does B.P affect H.R ?
any knowledge or ways to keep it down would be cool. Im not having arythmias.. just the occasional tachy.

i noticed when i FALL asleep while the TPN is running.. i wake up with 115-120 resting H.R.. Weird.

I went for probably 4 or 5 months with mine being way above my normal (with resting rates around 160) and they didn't seem to think it was a problem, once they did tests and saw that everything was ok.  They thought it was stress related and that it would go down once the flare went away.  The same things that spike your blood pressure can also increase your heart rate, so yes, you may see some correlation there.  Stuff like being in pain can increase them both.  When I was in my worse flare was also when my resting heart rate was 160 and my blood pressure was 144/90-something.  My GI suggested that I do pilates or yoga or walk to relieve stress to help both the flare and the blood pressure and heart rate problems.  I also took some time off work to relieve more stress and help me get through it all.  It all got better as the flare got under control, but I still have times where both my heart rate and blood pressure get high...if I'm in pain or upset.

During my first flare I'd get so dehydrated my heart rate was double normal (according to the PA that saw me) -- in the 120s I think.

How did it go making sure you're hydrated? Did that bring down your heart rate at all?

Sorry, I don't know about elevated heart rate and exercise. Maybe just walk? Seems like that's all you'd want to do... What did the doc say?

The PA took me straight to the ER where they put me on IV fluids. My HR went down some but was still elevated. I tried exercising in the week before I was admitted but nearly passed out. For staying hydrated I like Powerade Zero since it has no calories.

Ive urinate like 1000cc and its only 3:30pm

my urinate is borderline clear-light yellowish but still at 90bpm-105.

i just dont get why its on and off. ill wake up from a nap and dream and be resting 115 and than i need to use the bathroom its 150 sitting there.

And than sometimes sitting there its only 115-125. I can handle that.

I know a lot of people who would be dancing in the streets to have the heart rate you have.

In accordance to rules of the forum, you need to ask your doctor about this.

i did. but 160 on the toilet isnt dancing on the street.

We have a few problems here, Debilitated:

a. You are asking for specialist medical advice, when we are amateurs. This is why we encourage you to turn off the computer, pick up the phone, and call your doctor or your hospital or an ambulance if you are concerned. We are not doctors and we do not know you personally, and a lot of us worry that you could endanger yourself by asking people online for advice rather than your doctors.

b. This is a Crohn's forum. You are asking for heart advice. This makes your posts somewhat off-topic and the moderators would, theoretically, be justified in deleting them. I honestly think that you should be taking these heart questions to your doctor, and then to the heart disease and the anxiety forums. The people on those forums have more knowledge (and personal and professional experience) of your symptoms than the average Crohn's patient, and will be more able to help and support you.

Please, Debilitated, don't rely on us. We worry for you, and the best way we can look after you is to encourage and encourage and encourage you not to ask amateurs for advice if you are so worried, but to consult with your medical care team instead. They know you, and they are the ones who are most likely to have the answers to your questions.
