I'm still messed up and feeling fragile after horrible nightmares last night. Have tried to spend the morning pulling myself together, but nope! it hasn't happened yet.

Here's what I've done so far:

* meditation
* listened to uplifting cd
* read spiritual book
* done several six minute stints in various rooms
* showered, washed hair, dressed

My tlc for the rest of the day is simply to make myself go OUT. Anywhere. Because I don't think it's healthy or helpful to hermit at home just because I'm feeling fragile. Might try one of the things from yesterday's list, which I didn't do.

Have a nice day everyone, and for those of you doing the Independence Day thing, have fun.

I explored those new markets, which was a bit overwhelming because of all the people, so drove to the national park on the outskirts of town and spent an hour or so exploring in peace and quiet. It was getting towards sunset, and all the animals were starting to come out for their evening feeds, so I saw a couple of wallabies, lots of birds, and a flock of emus with two babies. So, that was nice. I haven't been out there for ages, and should go more often.

Tonight:

* make and eat something nourishing
* prep tomorrow's breakfast
* do another 20 minutes or so tidying

Bonus points for more exercise and more meditating.

Heya Ivy,

sorry i havent ben on the last couple of days. Muy mate is down to visit and i honestly say we havent really stopped since she got here!!!

Friday - we sat outside and gossiped for 7 (yes seven!) hours, then watched a movie and ate a whole tub of chocolate ice cream.

Saturday - went for a picnic in my local town and went out last night for a few drinks with my cousin and his wife. Great night, didnt drink a drop of alcohol, danced my behind off and only spent ten quid!

Today - who knows, really tired after the last two days. We were thinking of going out to a shopping centre but i'm pretty tired! On the other hand i have only just woke up so maybe after breakfast ect we may feel differently! We may just stay at the house and watch movies and eat more chocolate ice cream plus mess about with some face masks!!

I've eaten so much food over the last two days, which is probably why i have had heartburn 8 times in the last 36 hours!!

LOL, I think I know now why you chose "chocholic" for your username!!

It sounds as if you're having a really great time with your mate, and I'm glad.

What movie did you watch on Friday?

Saturday: spent the day down in weymouth Dorset had a fab time!

today:

. Got the washing and Ironing done ( I hate Ironing) skull .

. Done some weeding in the garden

. Hubby took me for a meal at T.G.I.Fridays and I actually managed to eat all of my meal!.thats a first in months 

. getting ready for the week ahead of seeing GI, & occupational nurse

. going to sit down now with a small glass of red wine and a good book.

we watched Twilight, New Moon and Dorian Grey. My tummy is not best impressed with me, but its been a really good weekend, although my mate started driving back 20 minutes ago. She was going to stay till tomorrow but she has work on tuesday and is really tired. I dont normally eat ice cream but my mate really wanted some and it was on offer at the supermarket so we just kinda had to! I'm really tired but i should be able to catch up over the next week or two!

LOL, I'm guessing it will be hard to sleep with all that chocolate rocking around in the body. :-) I get really hyper after choc ice cream; do you?

I've heard good things about Dorian Gray: what did you think of it?

What a coincidence. Been a chocolate fest for me too! ;p

First of all the day started with chocolate cereal. The basic cereal was pretty nice, but too healthy I felt, so added a few chocolate drops to that. Then later on I had chocolate cake at my nephew's birthday party. 'Twas lovely. To be honest, the only thing which stopped me from having a 3rd slice was not wanting to look embarrassingly greedy, but I would've eaten half the cake if I could've. So would've the older lad. Ah, a sweet tooth runs in our family.

Did pay the price, but it could have been worse. Right now I have a stomach ache and bloating, but meh.

Tomorrow I'm going with my dad to hospital for his preop; he's having an operation in a week's time. It's not in our local hospital but a town we've never been to before and much further away. I'll drive if I feel up to it, but won't if I don't feel I would be safe :-/ That said, I've gained quite a lot of confidence on the road.

Hope you have pleasant dreams tonight, Ivy! Actually I had a bad dream last night - stopped short of a nightmare, but it was creepy. I get quite a few bad dreams; I don't like dreaming full stop.

NCOT:agree with you bout chocolate.  Usually eat protein wrapped in chocolate (M&M's)  have had to give them up and haven't had chocolate for a long while.  Personally, chocolate cures all and maybe if you eat more it will chase the bad dreams away, eh?

This happens to me in a bad flare - always to me a sign that I'm narrowed or obstructed. This simultaneous nausea and D is the key thing that identifies CD to me.

Peanut M&Ms = nice, but not had them in years. Even nicer is Reece's Nutrageous bar, but the one supermarket that sold it has now stopped selling it, and so I can no longer get my processed chocolate/peanut butter fix.

Looks like I won't be driving my dad after all; he said he'd do it :-/ Wish he told me that earlier, tbh. Well, I'm gonna log off for the night now, so goodnight folks.
