okay, I just saw this word on someone's crohn's blog and laughed out loud because I sometimes have this problem. We can talk "shart" on here right? It is a reality for me sometimes - think it was just gas and instead it is like baby poo - especially brutal when it happens and I am at work. Somehow I always forget to mention this symptom to my doc. Anyone else have this problem?

Everybody does! That's why one of the famous sayings here is, "Never trust a fart."

Yup. And this week, for some reason, I have the squirts! Having trouble getting out of the house in the morning because of it. I said that to my husband and he just said TMI. Even after 25 years, I guess somethings you can only say to a crohnie.

In remission or out, you NEVER trust a fart, and I never do. Run to the bathroom everytime. Hugs!

Yup! Hubby complained just last week of the sharts. I told him, (with no sympathy whatsoever!) welcome to my world! Would you like to borrow one of my panty liners?
