Help

I asked the other day about anyone with constipation issues and what their remedies were. I got some responses, but now I'm concerned because I used an enema and only went a tiny amount and it was very thin, then i tried to go again yesterday and I went a little and it was covered in blood. I used a laxative last night and still have had no bowel movement from it. I just had my remicade treatment on Aug 10th. I have had some issues with my arthritis bothering me for the last few weeks, does it sound like I'm flaring? I have some stomach cramps and I am very gassy but it takes a good push to even pass gas. I have been burping alot. It has been about a week and half since I have used the restroom and the only reason I did then is cause I had to use a laxative then. Is it a possible partial obstruction? never had one so I don't know what to look for. should I call the dr.? I'm so lost and confused

Sorry ur having so much trouble, I remember only too well what that was like. I used to swing between constipation to diahrea until eventually having a perm ileostomy and proctocolectomy . So perhaps I may be able to help you somewhat, at least I hope I can. I used to take stool softeners such as a product called movicol or just the plain old epsom salts worked the best for my constipation issues also my mum suffers severely from constipation and those are the products that work best for her. I am normally on the ostomy board but drop in here for a read and hope to be able to help out my fellow crohnies since they gave me so much help when i needed it most.
