so, did anyone experience one or the other?
I have just noticed it, at the age of 25, because I just started to have sexual encounters (because of the disease I had self-esteem problems before)
I talked to my GI and he said it could be from many things: I am severely anemic, I had surgery 3 months ago and I take Imuran. So I've met with an urologist but am unhappy with him because he basically told me to test my testosterone levels and if they are ok, he'll give me a prescription for Viagra or something similar. I plan to get a (good) second opinion that will give me a bit more insight into my condition but I am very interested if any of you had similar problems. :)

None here...of course I'm a girl so don't have to deal with those sorts of things. However, I can tell you that in terms of libido, when I'm feeling tired and run down, the libido goes right out the window, so in that respect I have had the same issue!

Now if only they'd get a good female viagra like all the guys have...then we'd be in business! :)

If you are hurting and anemic and stressed it can be difficult to keep your "spirits" up. If you get really sick it can be impossible. Improve your CD and get your blood counts improved and you likely will improve.

antidepresant can kill it too as well as sleeping pillls, etc.. so could be lots of things.. could be nerves too since your just starting out.. fear can be a killer.
