What to do with pain while having asthma flare

It is not currently happening however there have been some instances where my Asthma is acting up quite a bit and I also have severe abdominal pain. I know narcotic pain meds can supress breathing so it is not good to take them while have breathing trouble. Anyone have any tips or suggestions for when you are in pain but are also having issues breathing?

You shouldn't let your asthma get out of control. Do you have a steroid inhaler to put into use when you feel a virus coming or allergy season arrives? I've been using my Pulmicort for 6 weeks now to keep things manageable.

That might be an issue you want to discuss with your doctor. I would hate for you to take someones advice in this type of situation and be hurt by it. Good luck!
