Romance Heroine With Crohn's!

I just heard that Whisper Falls by Toni Blake features a heroine who has Crohn's. I haven't read it yet, it doesn't come out until December. But I thought it was cool. It'll be interesting to see how the disease is represented in the story. Crohn's pops up in medical dramas occasionally, but I don't think I've read any books where one of the main characters had it.

I read about this on Twitter. As you say, it gets mentioned in some medical dramas but not really outside of that. It's not a 'sexy' disease by any stretch of the imagination so it'll be interesting to see how the heroine gets on. Instead of romantic dashes to the airport, will there be dashes to the nearest bathroom and protestations of love through the toilet door?!

great news- long overdue as I feel like a superheroine at times balancing the bathroom/child rearing/work duties here. lol
